Alex Camsonne is in the Hall working on the Compton.

John Wexler is now the High Radiation Watcher; Seamus will take over this role after the MCC meeting is over.

Ed is planning to go in to take a quick look through the viewport on the scattering chamber to try and see if there is an ice buildup - that would perhaps explain some of the vacuum issues: the theory being that if we had been cryopumping water or nitrogen ice during the period with a big leak, then maybe the recent behavior is the beam heating up and evaporating off the ice... it seems plausible to me. At his request, I moved the target to the physically lowest position (optics target) so that he will have the best view through the viewport.

Ed also reports that they tried swapping the Left HRS Dipole NMR control unit in for the Right arm NMR, and it works there. I see the 'scope readout is sensible, and the readback field value for the right dipole in Hall A Tools now seems reasonable, i.e. it is steady in the second-to-last decimal place.

Seamus has volunteered to take over as High Radiation Watcher after he finishes with the 1:00 PM MCC meeting.

I have started a pedestal run.
