    keyword=GC scaler rates

    I measured the scaler rates for the right arm Gas Cherenkov. At first all
    counters had high rates even when all HVs were disabled. The ADC signal
    cables (the ones going into the delay cables) were disconnected from the
    PMTs and these rates disappeared. This problem is currently being worked
    on. Each PMT was then checked individually, the results are below.

    Counter | Voltage |  Rate
    ---------------------------
     GC-01  | -2200 V | 2.2 kHz
     GC-02  | -2250 V | 1.2 kHz
     GC-03  | -2375 V | 1.4 kHz
     GC-04  | -2250 V | 0.7 kHz
     GC-05  | -2275 V | 1.0 kHz
     GC-06  | -2200 V | 1.8 kHz
     GC-07  | -2275 V | 1.1 kHz
     GC-08  | -2275 V | 0.9 kHz
     GC-09  | -2235 V | 0.9 kHz
     GC-10  | -2200 V | 2.5 kHz

    NOTE: When the HV for GC-05 was enabled BOTH GC-05 and GC-06 showed
    rates. This also occured when GC-06 was enabled.
