    The NMR system has two sets of three probes: probes A,B & C correspond to one set while probes D, E & F to another. The sets are located at each side of the dipole gap - one at the top the other at the bottom. The probe range, in Tesla, are: probes A & D = 0.17 - 0.52, probes B & E = 0.35 - 1.05 and probes C & F = 0.70 - 2.10. Note that there is overlap in the probe range. For example, a field of 0.4 T could be measured with probes A & B (or D & E)

    Using the dipole Hall probe as guidance (value shown as D-G below the NMR value in the tools page), one may be able to select another probe where it is easier to lock. Below is shown the NMR locked using probe B when normally would have used probe C
