    keyword=Bogie controls issue

    I had a problem moving the spectrometer inward a little. It was a little puzzling, but in the end the issue seems to be that the middle bogies power supply does not turn off right away when the power supply enable button is disabled. The supply seems to stay on for about 4 minutes before the LEDs on the drive modules fade out. The problem I had was a fault on the M1 drive (the bottom red LED on the front of the drive module was lit) that would not clear. It would seem that it was not clearing because power was not being cut off to the drive module. It cleared when I manually opened the disconnect switches on the AC. I was then able to finish the move of the spectrometer. After turning everything off in the GUI I walked back to check if there were any faults on the drives. The middle bogies all had green LEDs, the outer bogies had no LEDs lit. Hey, wait a minute...back to the middle bogies...yes, all the green LEDs were still lit. I got Dave just to explain the error to him. By the time we walked back to the middle bogies, all the LEDs were out. So, this may be one source of problems with driving the spectrometers. Howard can investigate as the opportunities arise.
