We are having some trouble understanding the pion rejectors signals (see previous entries)
Here are some plots showing a bit more on the issue.
Plot 1 shows the ADC signal for prl1.7, prl1.24, prl2.7 and prl2.24. The black lines show the whole signal, while the red show the signal for events with large signals in the cerenkov (electrons). That looks good.
Plot 2 shows the location of the hit for an event with a large signal in a specific pion rejector block when only this block is hit. Again these plots are for prl1.7, prl1.24, prl2.7, prl2.24. These blocks are the ones that project on a x location around 0. The plot shows the hit along the y direction (top) and the x direction (bottom). The black line is prl1.7, the red is prl1.24, the blue is prl2.7 and the green is prl2.24. That doesn't look good. One would almost want to put the blue and the red in the same plane and the black and the green in another plane.
