The cryoflow (CFI6731A) and beam is stable. I'll leave it like
this for now.
Another issue is that the target control computer paints its
windows VERY slowly, as if some process were eating cpu.
A quick look with "top" reveals a normal amount of medm and
StripTool processes, but also an "update-apt-xapi" process
which is taking up 25% of cpu and memory; the process is owned
by root so I cannot kill it. It's probably stuck.
