    keyword=re: last scaler in datastream

    Some peculiarities I'm not sure anyone is noticing.

    I found that for a run like 8036, the last scalers in the
    datastream read T8 = 3134365 while the halog end-run reads
    T8 = 3132471, a difference of 1.85 sec. Some other channels
    show corresponding diffs, but the number of events (L1A)
    is the same. It seems what happens is that the event type 140
    sometimes puts in an extra event after the scaler gate is
    re-enabled and before the scaler insertion process gets killed.

    Here are the last few event type 140 in the last file of run 8036

    ...... Entry .... T8 clock
    * 98 * 3120762
    * 99 * 3125072
    * 100 * 3127030
    * 101 * 3127471
    * 102 * 3131530
    * 103 * 3132471 ---- end of run
    * 104 * 3132471 ---- scaler gate disabled
    * 105 * 3132471 ---- this value agrees with halog.
    * 106 * 3132471
    * 107 * 3132471
    * 108 * 3134365 ---- scaler re-enabled, but scaler insertions
    ........................... not yet killed.

    I haven't seen that before, I suppose some scripts are running slow.
