keyword=re: number of events in halog end-of-run
Actually everything is fine with halog end-of-run summary of num events.
What was displayed was "trigger-10". Maybe it should not have been.
So I've changed the GUI to say it is trigger-10 being shown.
I also have added another line to show trigger-5 which is (usually)
the total number of events. This should clarify the halog entries.
The meaning of "trigger-10" and "trigger-5" is clear to the experts
and something specific to this expt.
I looked in detail at run 8134. By reading the 6 CODA files, I see
that the number of physics events was 184,026 which is precisely the
number in the L1A scaler (13th channel) and also precisely the number
of in "trigger-5". Meanwhile, "trigger-10" was 215,230. All is well.
BTW, there are also 4739 "special" events like scalers and EPICS and
a few others in this run. But they don't get counted in scalers.
Reminder, the end-of-run scalers are saved in
~a-onl/scaler/scaler_history.dat
and code exists to read and parse that (adaq acct.; goxscaler, README)
