keyword=re: wide Y beam
A followup to halog 339645:
1) We don't have a criteria for what is good vs bad for the Y width.
2) The swing shift accepted the beam recovery setup with some experts around.
Therefore, we decide not to try to "fix" this problem (i.e. make black
histogram look like green reference). It's a question, though, whether
there is a deliterious implication for the experiment. I doubt it.
Talked to MCC about this. The procedure to correct the beam width
is to make adjustments to the quads and judge success with HARP scans.
This costs time since we normally don't take data during HARP scans.
If we're lucky it takes 1/2 hour, but I guess it could take
a lot longer. We decide to just take data, but the day shift and
various DVCS experts may think about it in the morning.
