For the Q1s, of the three regulator cards we have, two seem to have problems. Tomorrow the two boards will be surveyed to be taken from the hall for repair. Both Q1s are down for tonight. Both dipoles seem to be working OK. LQ2 and LQ3 seem to be working OK. RQ2 now seems stable. I replaced the IRFP3710 MOSFET (T3 on the schematic) on it. The RQ3 cannot be driven above 1100 amps. The transistors now in the RQ3 were in the LQ3 where they could not be driven above 1400 amps. We thought that would be adequate for the RQ3. It seems the RQ3 cannot provide as much drive current as the LQ3 for the T2 transistors. This is a problem we understand. We have a possible work-around and will discuss it tomorrow.
