    Entry number 346647

This entry is a followup to: 346637

    Followups:

keyword=turn off kill of caget in end_clean (test)

To test my understanding of the problem with end-run scripts,
I've turned off the line that does

     killproc caget emacs

in the end_clean script. I did this from home.

If I'm right, this will allow 100% of end-run entries to pass to halog,
even if epicsRunEnd is glacially slow. (The entry appears after
epicsRunEnd does its thing.) Starting now, 10:26 Sunday.

I'm not sure this should be a permanent solution, though. I seem to
remember that killing caget was important because otherwise after weeks
you'll get a mess of zombie cagets and ... strange things happen.
(It's been awhile since I've explored this.) But I'll monitor it
    and see.
