    Swing shift summary

    Shift workers: J. P. Chen (SL), Z. Meziani (TO), M. Huang (3rd).

    16:00 Hall A in controlled access, Jack is working on right Q3.
    20:00 Jack and others all out of Hall A. asked for beam permit.
    20:10 Moved right spectrometer from 14 to 16 degrees.
    Left spectrometer set at 0.968 GeV and 57 degrees.
    Right spectrometer set for 2.95 GeV. Since Q3 is limited to 1100 A, which shoudl be corresponding to maximum setting of pi (3.14) GeV.
    Set right Q3 to 2.95/pi*1100=1033A. Readback is 1029 A.
    20:20 Pulsed beam to Hall A
    20:30 MCC will send CW beam to Hall A
    20:55 Stable CW beam to hall A with position (-1.5, 0) in 1H4A
    and (-3.5,2) in 1H4B. asking for harp scan
    20:58 MCC informed us that there are problems with the harps, need to work on them.
    23:05 harp scan completed. B=161x167, A=205X273 um.
    move to BeO.
    23:30 Establish beam position centered on BeO center. THe original position is good (-1.5, 0) in A and (-3.5, 2) in B.
    23:55 raster established: initially 6x3 MCC gave 1.7x1 mm
    Then 8x6 MCC gave about 2x2mm but tilted.
    24:00 moved to 4cm LH2 target.
    Starting elastics production.
