I attempted to setup the EDTM to mimic a true e'pn coincidence to check
the timing for HAND. For this test, I set the relative time between the
left HRS and HAND EDTM pulses. I then injected the EDTM signal into
veto 1R ADC channel through all the ADC delay. After my tests, I
returned the cabling for veto 1R.
I found that EDTM pulse came about 56 ns inside the gate for HAND. From
the HRS timing setup I noticed there is about a 40 ns difference between
EDTM and real signals. Hence this probably does indicate the gate timing
is marginal for the real ADC pulses. The gate is about 400 ns wide, but
probably coming a bit too late.
I then checked the EDTM pulse wrt to the common stop for ROC 8. The EDTM
pulse comes about 450 ns before the stop. As I stated earlier, the real
coincidence is expected to be about +/- 40 ns from the EDTM based on
HRS data.
