    keyword=Cross-Connected Strobe Signals

    The strobe signals from each arm have been connected to the other arm via the RG8 cables connecting the two arms.

    The strobe from the right arm is connected to the left arm via cable #3, and the strobe from the left arm is connected to the right arm via cable #4.

    In both cases, the foreign strobe is connected to the trigger group module (where all the triggers and other miscellaneous signals enter and go out to the scalers and TDCs) in channel 9.

    To recap, in the normalization scaler module of each arm, there is a foreign strobe in channel 9 (index 8) and a native strobe in channel 14 (index 13).

    After the signals were connected, the scaler rates were checked, and everything looks to be connected properly.

    The scaler map has been updated in both the scaler directory and $DB_DIR.
