Please keep track of the coulomb count for the good runs and record it in the shift summary! This is what we would like to use to determine when we will change kinematic settings. Ole made a nice script to count the amount of charge from the run ends, given a range of runs. It looks for "Production" and "LH2" runs.
Make sure the 3rd person replays the data and looks at the online GUI and the ndelta plots for every run. Every 5 runs or so, a full replay should be done to look at the synch-ROC plots.
The plan for the day is:
* Collect 1418 mC at kinematic setting #12. The 1hr Al run and a 5 min BeO run was done on owl. This setting should take until at least 11am, but keep up with the collected charge to be sure. Call the RC when this is almost done if she is not already there.
* Move the LHRS to 31.5 degrees and change the momentum to 670 MeV to do kinematic setting 38 in the run plan. Don't forget to cycle the quads (instructions on the wall by the white board). The RHRS doesn't change. We will use the 4cm LH2 target, and would like to use 80 uA.
* Check the signal-to-noise in the standard plots (instructions posted near adaql2) and adjust the prescales to get the rates posted on the white board. Post the plots. Call this an "Other" run in the run start.
* Collect 710 mC at kinematic setting #8. We will be using the 4cm LH2 target at 80 uA. Make sure to do a 1/2 hr Al run and a 5 min BeO run at this setting.
* Without changing the spectrometers, we will move to the 15 cm LH2 target and adjust the HPH settings (with beam off) so we can run up to 40uA on this target.
* Ask for 20 uA. Make sure the target is okay. Take a run and replay it with 40k events. Post the ndelta plots in the halog. Call this an "Other" run in the run start.
* If you are sure there is enough reserve power for the target, ask for 40 uA. Make sure the target is okay. Take a run and replay it with 40k events. Post the ndelta plots in the halog. Call this an "Other" run in the run start.
* Once we decide on a current with which to run, we will collect 190 mC at kinematic setting #8 with the 15cm target.
