The mysterious peak in the 1190 (which seems to be events from the arms) is similarly found in the F1TDC. This provides a sanity check against an old workhorse (as my colleague Or has pointed out).
In the figure the black is the F1 and the green is the CAEN 1190. The difference in peak position is due to the difference in resolution. As you can see they are operating like each other. The peak that we see in the raw decoded data of the 1190 is in the raw decoded data of the F1, but give it's resolution you don't clear up the peak until you reference channel subtract.
Below are the two spectra for the Left 3 PMT on the E plane. These are reference Channel subtracted and show without a doubt that the 1190 is operating like the F1.
Further tests will be required to determine whether or not the bigbite library is causing problems.
