Using the help of Brad and Xin, we have convinced our self (and all other involved) that the BigBite (e,e'p_recoil) signals were missing the retiming mechanism, meaning they are missing their ADC gates. ==> A detailed halog on the analysis that was done will be posted soon.
For now, the fix is done adding a ~80ns delay to the trigger plane scintillators (i.e. adding a delay to each PMT output). ==> We are working on in at this moment. Should see results in the coming houres.
IMPORTANT:: OTHER MAJOR HARDWARE CHANGES:
1) We removed a 20ns delay from the L1A ==> Will be relevant when we would use the d(e,e'pn) data at x>1 to calibrate the HAND TOF.
2) We set the T6 and T7 triggers to singles BB and singles HAND. It's just to have them fo into a TDC and estimate the rate - we'll still keep thir prescale at 0. ==> IMPORTANT:: We need to update the crate map and data base to include DBB.T6 (crate 23/slot 48) & DBB.T7 (crate 23/slot 64). ==> The BB singles is an AND of left and right for each bar and an OR of those. ==> The HAND singles is an OR of the left side of Planes 4-6 and the bottom 8 bars of plane 3.
3) We added a copy of the non retimed L1A to the F1 TDC. ==> Alex will update on the exact slot after decoding the DBB class.
