The cams on the position sensors for the polarity reversal switch were found to be adjusted to the opposite of what is on the RQ1 Danfysik. This is assumed to have been done after the 480VAC phase rotation was set to left handed rotation. It seems to have been the "fix" implemented. The motor for the polarity reversal switch is a three phase motor and must have been running in reverse. Changing the cam positions is one method to reverse the phase rotation to the motor. This has been changed to be the same as what is found on the RQ1. The LQ1 now seems to change polarity as it should. I suspect the cams need some fine tuning, it appears the switch common is rotating too far and is causing excessive wear on the flags of the switch. This is true on both RQ1 and LQ1. We will get a few more opinions before proceeding with adjustments.
