Per Yves's suggestion, tomorrow early morning (7am) our hall will go into
restrict access for Yves and other experts to check the beamline. I asked
shift works to turn off power supplies of septa and target magnet. Since
septa are already off, I asked Melissa to follow the procedure of target
magnet ramp down and turn off the magnet.( I am not totally for sure
whether we can turn off the field individually) 

Yves should be able to describe the issue more correctly, but here I will
report what I understand from him about the beamline issue (so may not be
totally correct):

When Yves tried to tune the beam through chicane to the beam dump, he was
able to see the beam going through both chicane but he lost the trace of
beam after target magnet. Our target experts can tell that the beam did
go through the target chamber, polarization of target field is correct
and RADCON staff can detect the increase of radiation near the beamline
after target chamber. Base on Yves's conclusion,the beam is bent too low,
which indicates the mismatch of chicane field and target field. Experts
will go down the hall to double check the alignment of new chicane
location, and meanwhile, Yvies and Jixie need to compare again their
calculation.
