Called in for VESDA alarm
The highest concentration according to control box was at upper air handler and south wall and had fallen since I was called.
Upper air hander was off so concentration there made sense.
On entering Hall you could smell burnt electronics at the PSS key box
On entering the Hall a haze was visible and my eyes burned after approx. 1 minute
I failed to find a localized source for the smell.
I checked both Fz power supplies, both septum power supplies, and the target area including power supply.
I also checked all of the spectrometer power supplies as well as the moller power supplies
I checked all of the equipment racks on both spectrometers and behind the green wall.
I did not check any equipment on the beam line.
I turned on the upper air handler to help dissipate the haze.
When I left the Hall the alarm levels were lower than when I went in.
I assume that a chip fired and that we will find it when we need it most.
