Shifts are canceled through Thursday DAY. Thursday SWING and on are on standby.
Jack, Ed et. al are working hard on completing repairs to the right septum. It looks quite promising and the progress has been remarkable. They will need day shift on Thursday to complete the work (at minimum).
Note that Accelerator is running a 12 hour beam studies today focused on C100 work, and Hall B has requested a move to 5-pass during Thursday DAY shift (2--4 hours steer up). The upshot is that we would have been without beam for most of today and a good chunk of day shift tomorrow even if the Hall was ready. If we have to be down, now is a good time.
Note that the Hall is in Restricted Access to address these repairs. I ask that those doing work in the Hall be very careful about what they touch, leave the Techs to their work, and make a Halog about any modifications that you made.
