    keyword=status of Hall A

    HRS magnets are up, except for R-HRS dipole, which is ramping slowly, as
    usual; it will take another hour.

    Septum magnet is up to it's needed setting.

    James Maxwell is ramping up the target magnet and will re-establish
    polarization.

    I inspected the hall myself at midnight. There was a puddle of area 2 m
    wide x 20 m long near the door that leads to the labyrinth -- the long
    axis of the puddle running parallel to the wall. The puddle was about 1
    cm deep. In the labyrinth itself the water was deeper, about 2 to 3 cm.
    However, all the electronic equipment there is in racks and about 10 cm
    off the floor. It looks like we are in good shape to take beam in Hall
    A, and it is 95% dry with only a small puddle near the door, as I've
    written above. I've approved Hall A running for the MCC crew.

    As I write this, MCC says they are ready to put beam in hall A. We're
    just waiting for the target to get set up first.
