keyword=3rd HV crate refurbished, testedChuck and Jack refurbished another HV crate. A card in the 5th slot
works, and HV is observed on the output. There was a problem with
the 0th slot: card not seen. I only checked those two slots. We
speculate that that first slot has worn-out connectors on the
backplane.
This brings to a total of THREE the number of LeCroy 1458 HV
crates that have been refurbished with new external 24V PS and
bypassing the motherboard with a serial interface.
