keyword=status of HRS HV - not workingThe HV software sometimes worked but usually not. When it worked it was extremely slow, like 5 minutes (?!) to turn on HV.
This may be related to the -1 printout by the Perl server (fig 1) or the "no ack present" prinouts by the C code (fig 2).
The thing to do next is to reproduce the setup on hacweb5, which I
think worked and was reasonably fast. Then I can start changing things, like bringing the laptop there (maybe something is wrong with the installation on the laptop), etc.
I emphasize that both crates on R-RHS have this symptom. One with 2 modules and one with 14. I doubt it is a random mistake in the hardware setup, and I note that both crates were tested before (on hacweb5).
I can't test on hacweb5 now because someone took away the power supply. But I think that restoring this is really the way to go.
The L-HRS setup has multiple problems, too. Like no network connectivity to the laptops, etc, etc.
