    keyword=dhist multiplicity, etc

    One philosophy of dhist is to show raw detector data
    without cuts -- in most cases.

    The VDC multiplicity is shown before multihit elimination.
    (i.e. before rejecting multiple hits on one wire). All other
    VDC histograms, however, slightly violate this philosophy
    and do have this cut: the data chosen is the drift-time closest
    to the wire. (Probably as in ESPACE.) The multiplicity is
    shown uncut so that people can judge if the wires are noisy (it has
    been a known problem in the past). The drift time, etc, are
    cut because VDC experts believe that a "FEW" multiple hits are
    not a serious problem and they prefer to see the TDC spectra, etc,
    without this noise.

    I've asked Marat to confirm all this.
