    keyword=The state of EPICS

    What was done on EPICS today:
    1. A 4th dvm was added to the bcm epics for readout of the Hall A power meter
    2. The lasers for the He3 target were looked at. They look like they're working. We
    couldn't get them to trip off.
    3. The halfwaveplate motion for the He3 target was looked at. The GUI was modified. A file was added to make sure that the system comes back in relative mode if the IOC is rebooted.
    4. The alarm handler was modified to match the state of the GUI (i.e. the alarm for RTD1 corresponds to RTD1, not RTD5 like it used to, etc.)
    5. The database for the detector high voltage control had to be rebuilt because somebody added some cards (and also removed a card) from the various hv crates.
    You are supposed to notify me when you do this. Now it works. The upgraded version of perl doesn't run on HAC, so the computer center needs to be complained to.
