Conditions: 28.3 degrees on the injector, 1.733GeV. 1/2 wave plate is OUT.

Two measurements took place. One, at 8:30-12:00 gave a strange result
with the polarization of about 60%, though 4 runs resulted in about 70%.
Both values looked sharp, as if there were 2 different conditions. It turned out
that the MCC operator reduced the current to Hall A to 0.3uA attenuating
the laser beam and leaving the slits open. He told us about that and we
repeated the measurement, at about 15:00-16:20. This time the laser
was running non attenuated, while the beam intensity was reduced using
the slits. The polarization measured look normal - about 70%. We told
    the MCC about these results.

    The beam polarization measured is
    -72.0+/-0.15(stat)+/-3.0(prel_syst)%.
