keyword=results of noise subtractionShown below are results for noise subtraction test. The ADC
spectrum of the HAPPEX detector is plotted for happex triggered
events above 30 mV threshold with beam (top plots) and without
beam (bottom). The rates with beam were about 3 kHz and
the rates without beam were only a few Hz (4 Hz E-arm, 15 Hz H-arm).
Clearly the stuff near threshold increases in rate with beam. I don't
know what causes it. Maybe PMT ringing ? Or low E neutrals (YUK!).
