After mott, beam was restored to Hall A. We started to do an alignment check
to see that the magnets were all behaving after this afternoons crash.
After downloading the scintillator trigger, setting voltages, starting a run,
Standard DAQ responded with 100% dead time.
We killed and cleaned up coda and restarted several times.
Error messages read such as
connection timed out: IPM1HO3B.XPS
HacAi_hpchan31 ---invalid channel name
ROC1 has not reported for (many) seconds.
ER1 has not reported for (many) seconds.
EB1 has not reported for (many) seconds.
Next we tried a reboot of the crates. No joy here.
Paged Bob, Paged Jack.
Jack suggested that it might be a communication problem with
hac (some of the variable names suggested this), otherwise
try rebooting the ethernet switches in the hall.
HAC was behaving sluggishly due to excessive numbers of loggins,
rebooting seemed warented, so we did.
After HAC came back up, we restarted runcontrol,
re-established CODA, started a new run... Nothing but
junk with 98~100% deadtime.
Reached Bob; Unable to diagnose the problem over the phone, unable to
come in unti later. He suggested we return to HAPPEX data until
this could be looked into.
