Typical RG59 Coaxial Cable Specifications

Hall A uses RG-59 cable for two things, video signals and detector high voltage.

Video cable is typically black jacketed. Do not confuse RG58 and RG59 signal cables. Bad things can happen.
In Hall A red jacketed RG59B/U is only used for detector high voltages. It shall not be used for carrying low voltage signals. When making high voltage cables it is best to use and RG59 cable with a solid inner conductor. This will make installation of the connector on the cable much easier.
