TJNAF Hall A old Aluminum Bench mounting

This was the original mounting for the Aluminum Bench in front of the Target Chamber. It was suspected of being less stable than desired. Capacitive gap sensors were installed to get an idea of the stability of the mounting design. Although the placement of the gap sensors made a direct correlation between the magnitudes of the sensor readings and the absolute displacements of the Bench difficult, a relative correlation was obvious. The mounts for the bench were redesigned.
