How Do I Rig This?
Adjustable Spreader Bar from Lettellier
- 482 lbs ( measured ) for the assembly
- 101 lbs ( measured ) for each smaller spreader bar with one 3/4in shackle and
two 1/2in shackles
- As delivered, each smaller bar was attached to the larger bar using
two 3/4in shackles in series and each smaller bar had two 1/2in shackles for
attaching a load.
- Maximum distance between rings on main bar : 8ft
- Maximum distance between holes on smaller bars : 72in
- Smaller bar has holes at 6in intervals
Aerial Lift - Hall A's JLG (electric, model E600, S/N 0300058353, Property Number F214104)
- Use 2 8 foot slings at the rear. 1 inch shackles in the lift rings welded to the
top rear of the turret. Bring both slings up to the crane hook. Or, use 1 16 foot sling in an inverted basket.
- Use 2 12 foot slings at the front. 1 inch shackles in the lift rings welded to the
front axle. Bring both slings up to the crane hook. Or, use 1 24 foot sling in an inverted basket.
- Measured weight : 16,000lbs. (weighed by Ed Folts 04-19-05)

- Measured weight of timed delay spool : 45 lbs
- Estimated weight of aluminum center rod : 10 lbs
- Estimated weight of mounting bracket : 90 lbs
- Estimated weight of complete assembly : 325 lbs
