Update CD-ROM Drive Letter

When a new hard drive is added to your PC, the operating system automatically reassigns the drive letters. This may cause the CD-ROM letter to change. This causes applications to have the incorrect drive letter assigned to them in their configuration files. This utility will change the CD-ROM assignment in your configuration files and registry so your applications will correctly find your CD-ROM.
  1. Select the drive that you want to scan configuration files on (Typically the boot drive).
  2. Enter the old CD-ROM drive letter.
  3. Next enter the new CD-ROM letter. Click next to proceed.
  4. DiscWizard will now change all of your configuration and registry files to the new CD-ROM letter.
Undo CD-ROM Drive Letter Update

Use this utility to undo the CD-ROM update if you make a mistake or remove a drive.
