TekVISA for the TDS5000 Series Oscilloscope

Installation Instructions:

1. Save the .Zip file to your Windows-Based Oscilloscope or PC hard drive. 
Extract the TekVISA files to an empty directory.

2. Close the programs running on your scope or PC. If the oscilloscope 
application software is running, close it by selecting EXIT from the FILE menu.

3. It is recommended that you uninstall any previously installed version of 
VISA on the PC or Windows-based oscilloscope. This includes versions of TekVISA 
installed by WaveStar or VocalLink, and versions of VISA from National 
Instruments, Agilent, and other vendors.

4. Double click the SETUP.EXE file to begin the installation procedure. 
Follow the directions carefully. 

5. The PC or oscilloscope must reboot to complete the installation process.

you have successfully downloaded this software but are unable to load it 
into your Tektronix Windows-based oscilloscope per the instructions above,
