We are looking in the SAMPA chip for the GEM readout to improve deadtime and rate capability of the GEM.
We are also looking into the SAMPA for a TPC readout for an earlier experiment using a TPC.
Ed Jastremzki from the JLab DAQ group has started to look into this option too.
