Experiment:

No beam study and no RF recovery this week

https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665804 https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3666105

  • Taking the production runs during the weekend (03/09 and 03/10).
  • The production (no LHRS NMR and target alarm silent) with monitoring the from run 4729-4759

Hall:

1) escorted access by ARM and John to reset SciFi motion system

2) escorted access by Jack to reboot the LHRS IOC (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3665788)

3) control access planed at 3:00 pm to install the new LHRS NMR IOC portserver/bad wire and Sieliu will restart the target computer. Meanwhile we insert sieve on the left arm to start optics runs after the access.

Issue

temperature sensors does not bring back their readings we can carry on with the experiment." ---from Silviu. [[1]]

The above 2 issues need a control access to the Hall, and we plan to have Jack/Ethan and Silviu to work on the issue on Monday 3pm.

Plan

  • Collect the production run data with both working Right and Left HRS at 40uA.
  • Insert sieve on the left arm, and do the optics run for HRS T1=T4=1, others keeps to 0, see the run plan[[2]]
  • plans for the down time during production run.
    • Left HRS magnet down, then take the right HRS optics run (positron)
    • Right HRS magnet down, then take the left HRS optics run
