Energy Deposit in Elastic Scattering

Following script calculate the ADC channel for all PMTs in BigBite resulting from passage of elastic proton. The Measured ADCs can be entered to the HV adjustment software in order to fine tune the desired Voltage.

The procedure is as following:

  1. calculate the desired votage using the gain curves
  2. make a measurement
  3. apply this script to extract the actual ADC
  4. correct the voltage, if needed, using the HV adjustment software
