General
- Ole is getting serious about turning off compton-old
- I've copied some stuff to /home/compton/compton_old on the new machine
- Check and see if there's anything I've missed that you think is important
- 2 items still needed on new compton: Functional VNC server and StripTool
- Juan Carlos: Have a VNC session running in compton:5 (I have been using it to test DAQ)
- Simulation: unified GEANT4-based Monte Carlo update
- Alignment still needs to be done (next week?)
Laser
- Replacement power supply should have shipped June 24 - delayed to November 11.
- Joe Beaufait looked at dead power supply - bad 5V supply: replacement 5 V supply in hand
- New seed laser installed
- Removed 5 W fiber amplifier and handed off to Shukui (Injector group) - he wants to check it out
- Installed 30 W amp
- Need to find polarization direction (not marked)
- Power calibration is off - need to set like 6.4 W to get 5 W. [1]
Photon Detector
- Elog entry from Brian detailing phosphorescence of PbWO4 [2]
- Detector installation
- Juan Carlos: plans to drive down by the 26th to install detector and tungsten Jaws.
Electron detector
- Detector in Hall
- FSD and "photon stopper" valve: need to test masking
- VETROC modules ordered
- QWAD tests: JLab (Hoskins/Camsonne)
- QWAD tests: Manitoba File:PresentationQWADUofM9142016.pdf
- Correction on QWAD Tests: Figures 1 and 2 should have 1,000 expected events, not 10,000
