Calibration

  • Tune beam to 1 pass, Set HRSL(-) and HRSR(-) at 15 (-15) deg.


1. HRSs calibration with C(e,e') (elastic) with/ without sieves.


  • Move HRS(R) to 12.5 deg change polarity to HRSR(+), Set BigBite at 68 Deg.


2. Momentum scane for BigBite calibration, H(e,e'p) Kin A 1,2,3.


  • Energy change 1 pass to 2 pass.


3. Continue calibration of BigBite H(e,e'p), D(e,e'p) and C(e,e'p) Kin A 4,5, B 1,2,3,4 and C1

  • Move BigBite to backward angle (should allow HRSR at ~70 deg)


  • Put the Neutron array (without the lead wall) at 50 Deg and 15 meters from target.


4. Calibration of the HAND with H(e,e'p) Kin D1.


5. Continue calibration of HRSs with quasi elastic scattering C(e,e'p) Kin G 1,2.

8. D(e,e'pn), Establish triple coincidence at x>1 (Kin Pmiss = 500 MeV/c)


  • Run for 2 calendar days, Q=1 C - expected ~100 events in the d(e,e'pn) TOF peak, (see E01-015 previous measurement, for 4 cm LD2 target at 10 uA). Should be able to identify the TOF n peak at the known location ~ 40 events after a day of running: a check for x>1 timing etc.


9. 4He(e,e'pp)/(e,e'pn), production, Pmiss = 500 MeV/c Kin K2


10. 4He(e,e'pp)/(e,e'pn), production, Pmiss = 625 MeV/c Kin K3


11. 4He(e,e'pp)/(e,e'pn), production, Pmiss = 755 MeV/c Kin K4
