After first initial tune, we want at least one HARP scan on 1HA05A to determine absolute beam position after chicane change.

  • Request 8 uA tune beam
  • In Monticello, go in first HARP menu, select HARP expert controls and open panels for 1H05A and 1H04 ( bottom right of expert screen )

  • Make sure speed is set to 1

  • In Monticello, go in second HARP menu ( ! ) choose HARP analyzer
  • Select the Hall A harp to use
  • Click on Initiate scan
  • If signals saturates, reduce gain on the corresponding HARP and take another scan
  • Once done, go to 50 nA, take a run
