Round table report

Minutes

Present: Dipangkar, Salina, Ed, Arun, Narbe, Erik Wrightson (observer) Excuse assistance: Rachel. Bogdan, Paul, Eric C.

Dipangkar: still waiting response from Patrizia, much likely be prepared for a meeting to defend the paper. Target has been tested and it will be tested at JLab in the near future.

Ed: (C&P from his email, Thank you, Ed!)

1 - JLab procurement has gotten involved in trying to formalize an agreement with CERN to purchase the rad hard data transfer components (lpGBT, VTRx+) and rad hard power components (bPOL12, bPOL2V5) for TDIS. Quantities will support 50K channels of the TPC.
2 - Hall B is still trying to configure and read out the SAMPA V5 cards borrowed from the sPHENIX experiment. Readout is through the FELIX PCIe card. Right now information is difficult to get from the sPHENIX collaboration as they are currently busy commissioning their full system that uses these components. UVA will use the SAMPA V5 cards + FELIX to test their prototype GEM detectors for TDIS

Salina: prototype is ongoing and is expected to be tested soon

Carlos: he has talked with Jerry Gilford (Hall B) which has a QE generator, but it was not updates from long time, but Jerry has been recovering, so he promised to contact Carlos in order to make use of it

Bogdan: he asked (by mail) What is the rate of signals in one pad at the inner radius of mTPC? This question will be addressed by Rachel and/or Carlos soon.
