bbcamac2 and bbcamac3 have the ability to reset each other. If both are down, then a Controlled access is required to reboot them.

To reboot bbcamac2,

  • navigate your Web Browser to:

http://bbcamac3

Login: jenet (password is the same)

  • Click on "NIM I/O"
  • Set OUT 1 to HI
  • Wait a second, then Set OUT 1 to LO

bbcamac2 should reboot within 15 seconds.


To reboot bbcamac3,

http://bbcamac2

  • Set OUT 1 to HI
  • Wait a second, then Set OUT 1 to LO

bbcamac3 should reboot within 15 seconds.

Remember to set the thresholds on the HAND, after ANY reset.

  • from an xterm, log into a-onl@adaql2
  • change directories and run the threshold script:
