ADC channels

Following script calculate the ADC channel for all PMTs in HAND. The Measured ADCs can be entered to the HV adjustment software in order to fine tune the desired Voltage.

In the script there is a cut that allows only events that seen by each bar and the bar that stand in the way of the optical line to the target ( I don't sure if it's actually needed. In the case of elastic scattering, HAND is locate 15 meters away, so the actual path length in each scintillator is pretty same).

The procedure is as following:

  1. calculate the desired votage using the gain curves
  2. make a measurement
  3. apply this script to extract the actual ADC
  4. correct the voltage, if needed, using the HV adjustment software
