Back to CSR Weekly Meeting on 2011

  1. xinhu: [NaI bad block correction check]
  2. hyao: [RHRS New Acceptance and LHRS New Acceptance with New SAMC RZ generator]

xinhu:

  1. Correct most events back. But still not good for Box3.

hyao:

  1. 21612 has problem.
  2. Low energy Cross Section fluctuation < 3~4%.
  3. Left arm cross section is not good.

To do list:

xinhu:

  1. For NaI Eff, make geometry dependent cut efficiency for NaI.
  2. Weight the event by this geo-dep eff when calculating the cross section.
  3. calculate the efficiency for bad block region(select the events in bad block region and add different

E/P cuts to see the efficiency changing)

  1. pi rejection for low mementum.

hyao:

  1. Try 600,700 Acceptance. See the difference.
  2. For low energy, 300-400 MeV, fix the highest point for xs.
  3. last three runs for 739 R Fe 60, fix the highest and lowest points.
  4. For left arm, at high energy, we might be not necessary to use NaI E/p and Geo Cut.
  5. For left arm high energy, first get 3 points cs, Then remove NaI E/p and Geo Cut to compare it.
  6. Continue "To do list" in March 31 2011 Meeting Summary
