The resets for the Bogie controls crates are done using green buttons in the middle room of the Counting Room A. The buttons have a small label underneath them. Press the button for the count of 10 and then release the button. On the webpage https://hallaweb.jlab.org/tech/Detectors/public_html//controls/hall_a/ioc_portserver_reboot_locations.htm you will find the reset procedures for the crates. For hallasc18 (129.57.188.26) - Left Spectrometer bogie drive control you will find the note "soft" reboot(backplane reset) - Green button 12 in Reset Box #1 in middle room of Counting Room.
The following is just "FYI". You should NOT have to use this procedure.
An escorted Controlled Access is sufficient. Go to the Power supply platform on the HRS. That is not the stairs that take you to the detector hut, but stairs closer to the wall that goes up only one "floor" to where the dipole and quad power supplies are (you may have to roll it into position).
As you walk up the stairs keep going straight ahead and look for a crate tucked up against the downstream side of the dipole magnet.
You can either press the Orange reset button, or turn the green power switch off, then back on. The electronic boards above the reset switch and the power switch are fragile, be careful not to touch them.
