GMn GEM commissioning Meetings: WEDNESDAY 10:30am - 11:30am

Discussion on personnel for supporting GEMs in upcoming SBS experiments (summary from last week)

• UVa: Anu and Sean will still be involved till Fall 2022 or early 2023. John B. will be involved through GEN-RP. 2 new students from Nilanga's group will be getting involved near beginning of the summer.
• Hampton: Manju and Saru will getting involved now and primarily focused on GEN-RP GEMs. Thir will also remained involved.
• WM: Zeke will still be involved during GEN and GEN-RP.
• Constructing 4 new layers at UVa, so workforce will have to be considered for that.

Update on BB GEMs(Sean, Ezekiel, Holly, Anu)

• Plans during SAD? Gas, gas filters, installation of new dividers
• Interest in a NIM article?
• Negative pulse analysis - Sean

Update on UVa GEM layers for GEn-RP (Anu, John, Thir)

• APV inventory
  • Test of 107 APV25 cards has been completed:
    • 76 tested good with DAQ and low-level mpdlib test
      • 64 cards are installed into the 9th layer
    • 31 tested bad - will be shipped to Paolo this week
• Updates on GEn-RP analyzer/replay
  • Alignment results with a chi2 cut of 40. Summary Plots for 500 K trigger events of cosmic data

Update on INFN GEM layers for GEn-RP (Ezekiel, Holly, Evaristo)
