TO-DO Items
- Determine the possible NPS angles from the TDIS setup, with the help of Steve Lassiter, Paulo Medeiros; (Alex?)
- Determine the settings at 11 GeV, 8.8 GeV, and evaluate the nDVCS rates (Zhihong?, Eric?);
- Determine the triple-coincidence SBS-NPS-mTPC Signal-to-Background ratio (Rachel? Eric?):
- pi0 rates in NPS with SIMC (Estimations with Wiser gave ~5MHz over 1 GeV over the full calorimeter);
- DIS rates (6 kHz from previous studies):
- proton(+deuteron) rates in mTPC: max ~550 p+d per event

Software How-tos
Link to redmine https://redmine.jlab.org/projects/ndvcs/ This section provides guidance on how to use the different software packages for nDVCS.
SIMC with Bosted pi0 generator
SIMC combined with Bosted pi0 generator can be used to evaluate the pi0 induced NPS backgrounds. SIMC is available at: www.github.com/JeffersonLab/simc_gfortran
G4SBS
G4SBS is useful to evaluate many of the backgrounds, namely beam-induced backgrounds. The documentation of G4SBS is available at the following link: Documentation of G4SBS For nDVCS, one should use the tdis_dev branch: git checkout tdis_dev
DVCS event generator
One version of the DVCS event generator is located at: /w/halla-scshelf2102/sbs/efuchey/TDIS/sbs_tdis_ndvcs/SBS-nDVCS/dvcs_sbs/src
