List of Target Operator Responsibilities
- Fill in Shift Checklist and sign at the end of your shift.
- Take screenshots of the polarization display panel and cryogenics display panel twice during your shift.
- If something has gone wrong and you don't know how to fix it, call the g2p Target Expert On-Call.

Microwaves
- Adjust the microwave frequency in small increments, up or down. If the polarization appears to decrease due to your changes, go back and look the other way.
- Carefully record the microwave frequencies, noting which ones maximize polarization and which ones decrease it in the target logbook.
Anneals
Anneals may be performed by target operators, but notify the Target Expert On-Call at least 15 minutes before you intend to start one.
