02 June: Received new computer from Mark Jones. No network card present. Single hard-drive with Red Hat previously installed. Functioning version of CODA present (at least previously used). Going to attempt use with 2TB hard-drive from Alexandre. Need to install the SRS software and SLC5 from the ground up, complete fresh start.

03 June: New hard-drive appears to dislike the CNU PC. Unusual problem arises when booting, kernel and OS appear to begin loading but screen goes black half-way through boot (never seen before). Hard-drive functions properly on other computers. Going to continue tests from my personal computer. Will have to return to this PC when I understand the boot issue.

04 June: SLC5 and SRS software installed and properly running on personal computer. Able to ping the FEC and ethernet port without issue. Still not able to receive triggered events from the FEC. Possible that the trigger signal coming from the gate generator is not suitable but this is unlikely, from an oscilloscope the signal looks appropriate in amplitude and width. FEC definitely set to trigger from NIM input.
