GMn GEM commissioning Meetings: WEDNESDAY 10:30am - 11:30am

Commissioning of the GEMs:

Update on BB GEMs

  • Layer 2 giving lower efficiency than naively expected. Nothing obvious in all detector performance plots. Likely due to some software thresholds added during pass change.
    • Will investigate further.

Update on layers for GEn-RP

  • Stand alone DAQ:
    • INFN LV?
    • need to keep running and monitor crashes
    • hv scan in parallel daq?
  • NDX probe installed in SBS electronics bunker
